Cory Booker, the Mayor of Newark, New Jersey sharply criticized Obama campaign attacks on Bain Capital.
Cory Booker is described as a “surrogate” for the Obama campaign. With
surrogates like this, who needs surrogates? Booker said “I’m not about
to sit here and indict private equity.” Nobody is asking you to, Mayor.
They want you to indict Bain, which under Romney was more vulture
capitalism than “private equity.” According to Booker “It’s a
distraction from the real issues.” No Cory, it is the real issues. This
bizarre episode from you is a distraction. And now we have to deal with
it and ignore the real issues. Cory Booker may be trying to cultivate
Wall Street donors for a run for Governor of New Jersey. And the best
way to cultivate any crop is to lay on the manure very thickly. Geraldo Rivera is still obsessed with the hoodie that Trayvon Martin was wearing when he was killed. Geraldo said “he’s dressed in that thug wear...” Geraldo, I know it’s good for your job at Fox News to sound like a white guy, but do you have to sound like a 70-year old white guy? Nobody has more to fear from actual thugs than convenience store clerks, and the clerk in this video doesn’t seem bothered by Trayvon’s hoodie at all.
At a town hall event for Tea Party lunatic Congressman Joe Walsh, a woman went off on a rambling diatribe against President Obama. In what seemed like one very long breath, the woman called President Obama seditious, socialist, communist, and Nazi. If she didn’t have to inhale again, I’m sure she could have worked in Muslim, terrorist, and Arab. I would say it was a rambling, stream-of-thought diatribe, but obviously, thought had nothing to do with it.
Jon Lovitz went off on an anti-Obama rant over Obama’s efforts to get the rich to pay their fair share of taxes. Jon, you don’t pay any taxes if you don’t have any income. And from what I know of your post-SNL career, you don’t have any income. Jon Lovitz, Victoria Jackson... what is up with Saturday Night alumni going all rightwing crazy? I guess that’s just what happens sometimes when white people get old. This all just proves that SNL needs more minority cast members.
