Randi Rhodes: Another KochCain Victim

Herman Cain says he won’t answer any more questions about the sexual harassment charges against him. He won’t answer any MORE questions? I wasn’t under the impression that he’s answered any so far. Herman, if you’re refusing to answer questions about sexual harassment because you think it will hurt your candidacy, maybe you should refuse to answer questions about foreign policy. Or economic policy. Or domestic policy. There is nothing that can come out about these sexual harassment charges that can be nearly as embarrassing to Herman Cain as his utter ignorance of the issues.

Cain’s handlers hoped to put the charges of sexual harassment behind them with last weekend’s debate against Newt Gingrich. What better way to do it than with a one-on-one debate with the worst example of family values this side of Casey Anthony? Newt Gingrich has been married three times—he’s been married to as many women as have accused Herman Cain of sexual harassment! Oops, I spoke too soon—a fourth victim of Herman Cain has come forward. This isn’t over yet! Maybe a fourth wife will come forward to announce that she was also married to Newt Gingrich.

According to Sarah Palin, the message of the Occupy Wall Street protestors is “Wall Street fat cats got a bail out, so now I want one too.” You know, it’s pretty easy to shoot down someone’s ideas when you put words in their mouth. So Sarah thinks the Occupy Wall Street people just want a handout. It’s not clear if she came up with that idea before or after sending out her latest fund-raising appeal.

Notorious lobbyist Jack Abramoff is out of prison, and he’s speaking out against the corruption of our political system. It’s so bad that Jack Abramoff can’t take it anymore. It’s like if there was a level of violence that was too much for Charles Manson. Jack Abramoff was sent to prison for buying off public officials and corruption. That kind of thing couldn’t happen today… being sent to jail for it, that is. The John Roberts Supreme Court has pretty much taken everything Jack Abramoff did and made it legal. Abramoff’s real problem was being ahead of his time.
